
Stepped coped boundary walls enclosing the site, with predominantly 20th century headstone graves. The monument to John Alexander died 1905 is a square-plan stone plinth, surmounted by a cylindrical shaft in turn surmounted by urn,
Built in 1858-61 by J Maitland Wardrop to replace an earlier church. The interior was recast in 1895-6 by Hamilton More-Nisbett, after a fire. Organ by Brindley & Foster, 1897, rebuilt by H Hilsdon, 1970; East window by Heaton, Butler & Bayne, circa 1900.
